Will also fit Sway-A-Way 3.0/4.0 shocks that have a 5/8" stem top. However King Shocks and Sway-A-Way RaceRunner shocks use different materials on their valving shim stacks.
-
Rebound Valving:
Are the shims on top of the piston. These shim stacks govern how fast the shock expands out to full extension. -
Compression Valving:
Are the shims below the piston. These shim stacks govern how fast the shock compresses.
- #8 = All shims should be 0.008" thick = fast shock movement
- #10 = All shims should be 0.010" thick
- #12 = All shims should be 0.012" thick
- #15 = All shims should be 0.015" thick
- #20 = All shims should be 0.020" thick = slow shock movement
